Ramazan or Ramadan is known to be the holy month during which all the Muslims from all over the world observe fasting from dawn to dusk. In 2020, the holy month of Ramadan began on April 23, Thursday, and is expected to conclude on May 23, Saturday. It is believed that during this month, the first verse of the holy book, Quran was revealed by God and therefore this month has a special place in the heart of devotees.

If we consider the Islamic Beliefs, it is said that people who observe fasting during the month of Ramadan with complete faith and good intentions, their past sins will be forgiven by God and they will be blessed with good health and wealth.

The regular habit of fasting during Ramadan is followed to practice self-discipline, introspection of one’s own deeds and to attain spirituality through purification of body and the mind altogether. Fasting during Ramadan is one of the five pillars of Islam according to the holy book, Quran and other four pillars includes daily prayers, declaration of faith, going for Hajj pilgrimage in Mecca and doing charity.
