Every young lady is entitled to an education.
A girl isn’t a number or a piece of real estate. She is a child who is deserving of a bright future.
Gender inequality affects girls all across the world simply because they were born a daughter rather than a son. Girls’ education is less valued, and they are more likely to be coerced into early marriages, endure violence, or be kidnapped by human traffickers. Her childhood was cut short, putting her life and future in jeopardy.
Everything changes when a female receives an education. A well-educated girl is more likely to grow up healthy, protected, and empowered to shape her own destiny. She’ll decide when she’s ready to marry and start a family. She’ll almost certainly send her kids to school – and possibly live a longer life.
We recognize the value of education for female children. We will go to any length to ensure that every child is cared for.
With your help, we can educate females who would not otherwise have access to education, changing the course of their lives, the lives of their children, and the future of their communities.
Girls’ Education Promotion
Save the Children’s Every Last Child campaign strives to reach the world’s most vulnerable children, especially girls, who have been left behind by global gains in child health, education, and protection. Too many girls endure particular problems as a result of who they are or where they were born. We will boost females’ education by working together. We will reach every single girl, giving her the tools she needs to grow up healthy, educated, and safe. She is free to live her own life, speak her thoughts, and choose her own path.

Rose’s Story: The Importance of Girls’ Education
In Cambodia, almost 23% of youngsters are not enrolled in school. Even more alarming is the fact that 52 girls out of 1,000 become adolescent moms. These are girls who have been denied the possibilities they deserve and who have been forced to mature far too quickly.
Rose, a five-year-old girl who is innocent and eager, is on her way to a better future. She attends an early childhood development facility run by Save the Children in her town. We promote her early learning and development there, as well as drawing and art to let her express herself. We also provide education and learning opportunities for females through training instructors and involving parents, caregivers, and entire communities.
Your gift can help girls like Rose receive an education, giving her the best shot for the bright future she deserves.
